We are excited to finally tell you all about the coming of our BuChibi Beta test and alongside it our 20,000 $MNT prize pool!
After a long silence focused on the development of Bushi’s PVE mode, we’ve joined forces with one of Web3’s gaming giants, Mantle Network, to bring the community an eventful year in 2025.
There are many questions surrounding BuChibi as well as our prize pool, so let’s dive deeper into what this event has in store for everyone.
Why BuChibi?
First let's address the elephant in the room, “Why are you building a mini-game when Bushi is your flagship title?”
During our testing period with Bushi we were able to reach massive success and onboarded over 70,000 real players into the game. However, we saw that there were many barriers for community members who were looking to get involved, but simply did not have access to a gaming PC or setup strong enough to handle our game.
With the mobile market still dominant in Web3 as well as the rising popularity of mini-games in apps such as Telegram, we decided to expand Bushi’s IP and provide something accessible to our players.
Thus, BuChibi was born! After months of design, we believe we’re bringing something to the table that isn’t distracting to our flagship title, but instead, providing something that compliments the overall experience of the community as whole.
How Does BuChibi Co-Exist with Bushi?
Finally! Let’s get into the fun part of why BuChibi plays such an important role in the development of Bushi.
We’ve doubled down on the interaction between hyper-casual gamers and hardcore gamers and have designed a way to make these two communities exist symbiotically.
In BuChibi you are able to level up characters called — Chibis — which help form your team to defeat bosses. The game itself is rather simple with a “Cookie Clicker” type of feel. It has a low barrier of entry, low skill requirement, but is an extremely enjoyable experience for hyper-casual players.
With each season, BuChibi players have a small time-period in which they can level up their Chibis to the highest level they can. After this time-period, you can bring your team to life and mint these Chibis into Bushi’s PVE mode and help you in your adventure to defeat bosses, additional mobs, and solve puzzles by providing additional stats or utility - essentially allowing you to fight alongside the Chibis you (or someone else in the community) worked tirelessly to level, but instead in an expansive 3D world that is Bushi.
A Brief Introduction of the Fame Program
Alongside the introduction of BuChibi, we’re also introducing the Fame Program. This system allows us to identify and reward the most engaged community members, participants, and contributors. We wouldn’t be here without the support from Alpha/Beta testers, community mods, ecosystem contributors, and early supporters after all.
BuChibi will be the first event in which players will be able to obtain "Fame". Simply put, a player’s Fame level determines their prize of the 20K $MNT as well as future rewards including the Bushi token, exclusive in-game items, and other community rewards.

We understand that there is so much more to unravel with our upcoming roadmap. Even announcing our latest release of our website has gotten questions stirring in the community!
However, we hope that this article has given you a bit of a deeper understanding of BuChibi as well as Bushi. Our flagship title is truly in a league of its own, but that doesn't mean we can't have a little something for everyone.
